Are You Stressed?

Most people find that they have a certain amount of stress in their lives. It could be your job or it may come from other people who unknowingly interrupting your daily tasks throwing you off schedule. This may seem trivial for some, but for a lot of people it can be the main cause of a very stressful day. Taking care of a family is a full time job in itself and no matter how great your family is, taking care of everybody and everything little thing can take it's toll on you. I wouldn't say that I am totally OCD but I know that I get a little stressed when I don't get everything done in a day that I had planned on. What really frustrates me is when I do get something done, cleaning the bathroom for example, and someone comes along right behind me and messed it all up again! (How hard is it to pick your towels up and put your clothes in the laundry basket?)  Some experts will tell you that this comes under the catagory of "don't sweat the small stuff". Easier said than done, but they are right.  Changing your state of mind will help you deal with the "little" stress factors that add up. Just remember that you are a good mom, and that you take good care of your family and the little stuff is no big deal. Treat yourself to a good book or a long bubble bath and relax because you deserve it!

A Little About Me and My Family

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am a single mom with 3 kids.  My background is basically in music but I also have a degree in business administration.  I work at home now which is a good thing because my kids are always keeping me on my toes. My oldest son is Anthony (my fashion consultant). Anthony is 25 and works for La Bella Luna which is a really great Italian restaurant in Baldwin Park. Anthony told me the other day that I dress like an old lady??!!? I guess if I hike up my boxers and wear my pants around my ankles that will solve the problem. Moving right along, my second child is my daughter Summer (the drama queen).  Summer just celebrated her 13th birthday and is now an official teenager. She's a great kid but boy can she be moody.  I guess that's typical with teenage girls.  Everything little thing that happens is suddenly a major catastrophe and the world is coming to and end. Lord help me!  My youngest is 12, his name is Sebastian (the terrorist).  Sebastian is known for his "outgoing personality".  His favorite hobby is picking on his sister.  Sebastian will be starting middle school in the fall...I can hardly wait. I also have my Puggle (Ace) my Shitzu (Nina) and our two kittlen Spaz and China.  Well...we may not be the Brady Bunch but we certainly are quite a bunch!
